Stories of food storage

Food storage- click on the link and you will be led to a story and this article.
From the LDS Newsroom:SALT LAKE CITY 14 August 2008 Church Public Affairs is asking Church members to share their experiences with maintaining and utilizing food storage by posting video, text or other content on personal blogs, video-sharing sites like YouTube, social media sites like Facebook, or other Internet sites. Members can then e-mail a link to their story to publicaffairs-slc@ldschurch.org. The Newsroom site may link to some of them in an upcoming Web package on the Church welfare program, but in any case the stories may be beneficial to others who read them on the Web. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has long encouraged its members to store extra food to provide for possible future needs caused by economic hardship, disasters or other emergencies. Encouraging individual members to be prepared is part of the Churches overall welfare plan.

If anyone wants to post a story on here, just email it to me and I can post it for you. Then you can email the link to publicaffairs-slc@ldschurch.org.

Welcome

Welcome to the Sharing Sisters blog of the Indianapolis West Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! This blog was created to connect the sisters of our stake and help fulfill some of our sisters' needs. If you have anything to share, or have a need, send a post and we'll see how we can help one another. Some possible items to donate or request if you need them are furniture, medical or rehabilitation equipment, clothing, kids' clothing, baby clothing, baby items, linens, household items(like lamps or curtains, or anything newlyweds or new move-in's could use), etc. The possibilities are endless! We ask that the items be donated free of charge, be in working order, and be gently used(still have life in them). It is fine to require the recipient to pick items up.We hope that this group will fulfill some needs and be a blessing to all of us.
With all our love,
The Stake Relief Society Presidency
